My Everest Awakening — What's Yours?

This realization came to me as I stood at the edge of a path that once felt like a distant dream, the world of mountaineering. At the age of 40, a time when many are encouraged to settle into routines, I chose to imagine something different. Something wilder.  The thought of challenging myself to scale mountains lit a quiet flame inside me. But dreams, I’ve learned, are only whispers of possibility—they ask something of us. They ask for courage. For commitment. For the willingness to believe in what others might not yet see.
